Tram route 86 is a public transport service in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It runs from Telstra Dome/Central Pier Docklands in the city to Bundoora in the northern suburbs. It runs through the suburbs of Melbourne, Fitzroy, Northcote, Preston, and Bundoora. Unlike most tram routes in Melbourne, it falls within Metcard ticketing Zone 1 and Zone 2 .
From mid 2008 route 86 will no longer terminate at Telstra Dome, it will service Docklands Drive and the under construction Southern Star Observation Wheel tourist attraction. Route 86 will share the terminus with route 48 at New Quay.
