[edit] Franchise History
The Kings Comets were formed in 1998 participating with the Mid-Eastern Football League (MEFL). They had a 6-2-0 record in the MEFL and a 6-4-0 record overall before losing to the Flint Falcons in the playoffs. In 1999 the Comets were accepted into the MCFL when the MEFL merged with the MCFL. The Comets had a 4-4-0 record in the MCFL and an overall record of 6-4-0 and again advanced to the playoffs before losing to the Southern Michigan Timberwolves.
The Comets are incorporated as a non-profit organization and operated by an 11 person Executive Board of Directors. The Comets will play in the Greater Cincinnati area at Princeton High School's Viking Stadium on brand new field turf.
