Kidson Island

Kidson Island (67°12′S, 61°11′E) is an island 0.5 miles (0.8 km) long, lying 15 miles (24 km) north-northeast of Byrd Head. Discovered in February 1931 by the British Australian New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE) under Mawson, and named by him for Edward Kidson.
