Kent Paynter

Kent Douglas Paynter (born April 27, 1965 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island) is a retired Canadian ice hockey defenceman.

Selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft, Paynter played for the Blackhawks, Washington Capitals, Winnipeg Jets, Ottawa Senators. He was selected 16th overall in the 1992 expansion draft to be come an original member of the Ottawa Senators.
