Keeping Scientology Working
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Keeping Scientology Working (KSW) is a series of internal policy letters of the Church of Scientology written by church founder L. Ron Hubbard. The first of these, dated 7 February 1965, lays out ten points relating to the preservation of Scientology's standard tech and the eradication of non-standard tech. Violating any of these ten points is considered a serious ethics violation and can lead to being declared a suppressive person.[1]
The initial KSW letter includes a passage stating that the preservation of standard tech is more important than the application of democratic ideas, which have "given us inflation and income tax." The Federal Republic of Germany has cited this passage as one of its reasons for designating Scientology an organization opposed to the democratic order.[2]
