Kazakhstan Super League 2007 was the 16th edition of Kazakhstan Premier League, starting on March 31 and finishing on November 10.

[edit] Promotion and relegation of 2006 season

Although winning promotion FC Avangard did not have the financial capabilities to accept the step up and so FC Kaisar were spared relegation.[1]

Thus, only one team from the Kazakhstan First Division was promoted at the end of last season:

  • Ekibastuzets was disqualified from Superleague for non-sportsmanship performance in Kairat - Ekibastuzets fixture. [2]. And Okzheptes spared relegation
  • Irtysh will not be able to comply with UEFA licensing regulations, and therefore will be replaced by FC Zhetysu in Intertoto Cup 2008[3]
