Kansas City Middle School of the Arts, also referred to as KCMSA, and sometimes as Paseo Middle School is a magnet performing arts middle school located at 4848 Woodland in Kansas City, Missouri. It is part of the Kansas City, Missouri School District.

Kansas City Middle School of the Arts is the most popular and successful of the KCMSD’s magnet schools. The program serves over 650 middle school students from 6th grade to 8th grade and has been in operation since 1987. It has access to a 1200 seat state-of-the-art theater, black box, recital hall, recording studios and art gallery. The middle school sits on top of a hill with Paseo Academy behind it.

KCMSA is changing grade configurations and will only be for 6th and 7th grade next year. The 8th graders will be at Paseo High School next year.
