I think this article accurately describes the hierarchy of angels, so unless there is a desire to turn this into a table of sephirotic correspondences I think it's a finished short article. Jason Harvestdancer | Talk to me 18:03, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

I think that rather than focusing on making this article and the article entitled "Jewish Angelic Hierarchy" longer, they should be combined. As a moderately observant Jew who has spent a good deal of time studying Kabbalah, I know that at its base, Kabbalah is an integral part of Jewish ideology, particularly within Orthodox Judaism where Kabbalah has become the mainstream in the past two centuries. Additionally, the two articles are almost exactly the same. The difference is that Maimonides' hierarchy is the basis of the Kabbalistic hierarchy, making it less developed. Therefore, I think that the logical step would be to fold Kabbalistic Angelic Hierarchy into Jewish Angelic Hierarchy and have the article note how Maimonides created the system first, and subsequent Kabbalistic scholars expanded it to what it is today. Well, I originally put the contents of this article there, but was told that they are sufficient different to warrant different articles. User Shirahadasha was quite insistent. Tell you what - get an account and post a "merge suggestion" tag on both pages. I'll not do it myself as there may be a conflict of interest if I do.
