KPMT-LP is a low-power television station licensed to Pullman, Washington. Owned by Duane Polich and Elaine Clemenson Polich, it is anticipated that the station will start operation on Channel 14 sometime in May, 2008. The station will broadcast on UHF channel 14, with no separate digital channel.
The station will initially operate as a translator to station KIDQ-LP Channel 27 which operates in the Lewiston, ID market. The station serves the college towns of Pullman, Washington and Moscow, Idaho. Local programming is anticipated in the near future.
KPMT-LP was granted a displacment relief application on 3/24/2008 to move from channel 46 to channel 14 due to an interference issue with a co-channel translator at Grangeville, ID
