Julie Kedzie (b. 1981) is an American female mixed martial artist. She is a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. [3]

  • Julie has won many titles including the following: 1st place at the Extreme Grappling Open (EGO) and the World Kickboxing Association National Title [4]
  • On November 19, 2005, she won the eight woman tournament, Hook n' Shoot, in Evansville, Indiana. [1] She repeated this title in 2006.
  • She fought on the February 10th EliteXC card, being defeated by undefeated Gina Carano via decision in what was called "the fight of the night." [2] The Commercial Appeal, the daily newspaper for Memphis, Tennessee, called this fight, "The first women's MMA fight ever shown on cable television." [5]
  • She has recently signed a multi-fight deal with the Showtime Network's Elite XC mixed martial arts organization.[citation needed]
