It's still full of direct lifts from the MySpace page: see, for example [1] and [2] Why not try writing an article from scratch, without copying from elsewhere any then trying to "clear up" its copyright status? That's probably OK for now, although they should probably read Wikipedia's autobiography policy soon. I believe that the sources in the article mentioned above are adequate enough to assert the notability of the group. As long as the sources are mentioned somewhere within the article, you should be ok as far as citing sources are concerned.

Also, please remember to sign messages when you leave them on talk pages. You can do so by using four tildes (~~~~), or by pressing the Signature button on the toolbar (it looks like a signature). [edit] Uploading photos

First of all, what is the source of the photos? I can help you cite them right if I have an idea where they are from. Special:Upload is where you need to go to upload images. In the Summary box you can enter some information, so that you can have some description for the image, but that info will not appear on the pages when you use the image. --Willy No1lakersfan (Talk - Contribs) 03:52, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

Since the photos are yours, you can submit them to the Public Domain. If you have not uploaded the photos yet, then you should go here and follow the instructions.
What you see on the Guns N' Roses page is called an Infobox. If you wish to use something like that on your band's page, I would suggest copying the code for the box to your page, and replacing the information already in the box with the appropriate info. for your band. Make sure that you get the exact file names for the pictures that you wish to use, so that they do not end up as red links on your page. To insert images on other parts of the page, you can click the Image button on the toolbar and type the file name of the image. I reverted the edits you made, and I think you should read that page's TALK section to understand why. Talk:Keith Richards#"MASSIVE" recent adds by 70.241.88.145 & User:JT TRASH

Since you obviously know a lot about Richards, I encourage you to add material that makes the article better, but you need to explain your additions/changes in wither the "Edit Summary" or the "TALK/DISCUSSION" page, or both. otherwise, your contributions don't make a lot of sense. Wikipedia does try to offer valid sources for their articles, and you need to be aware that your knowledge may be correct, but you still need to offer some other independent source. I re-added a modified list of vocals, don't know if it will last, the other stuff you added, and took out, you can add again as far as I am concerned as long as you try to explain it so others can understand the change, that was my primary complaint.--Mikerussell 04:21, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

The Stones recently released Rarities 1971-2003 (2006), which includes sixteen rare and limited released recordings. Richards has termed the released output of the Stones as the "tip of the iceberg." Many Rolling Stones unreleased outakes, alternate versions, and studio jams are among the most widely bootlegged recordings in rock and roll history.

Many unreleased outtakes (some included on bootlegs) include Keith Richards on lead vocals on the Jagger / Richards penned songs including "Gimme Shelter", "Brown Sugar", "Rip This Joint", "Scarlet", "I Got A Letter", "Holding On", "Bad Luck", "I Can't Help It" (written about Anita Pallenberg), "I Think I'm Going Mad", "Crushed Pearl", and "Almost Hear You Sigh".

Many bootlegs featuring Keith Richards covering classic country, early rock n roll, blues, and pop standards include the Interchange studio sessions (recorded in 1977, Toronto, Canada), Eldorado studio sessions (recorded in 1981, Los Angeles, CA), Long View Farm studio sessions (recorded in 1981, North Brookfield, MA), the wedding tapes (recorded in a hotel room in 1983, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico), and Windmill Lane studio sessions (recorded in 1993, Dublin, Ireland).

Some songs Richards has covered by other artists include Chuck Berry's "Run Rudolph Run" and "Memphis", Jimmy Cliff's "The Harder They Come", Merle Haggard's "Sing Me Back Home", Johnny Paycheck's "Apartment Number 9", Dallas Frazier's "Say It's Not You", Jack Ripley's "Your Angels Step Out Of Heaven", Sam Cooke's "Let's Go Steady Again", Seals / Fritts's "We Had It All", Big Bill Broonzy's "Key To The Highway", Everly Brothers's "All I have To Do Is Dream", Jerry Lee Lewis's "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On", Hoagy Carmichael's Nearness Of You, Elvis Presley's "All Shook Up", Robert Johnson's "32-20 Blues", Lennon / McCartney's "Please Please Me", Buddy Holly's "That'll Be The Day", Bob Dylan's "Girl From The North Country", Reverend Gary Davis's "Cocaine Blues", and Hank Williams's "You Win Again".

Since unreleased recordings most often appear as post-career or as posthumous releases, trading of these bootlegs is common on peer-to-peer sharing programs.

You can re-add it yourself. Now I don't have time to look it over. What I mean about explaining is simpling offering a reason for inclusion on the TALK page or in the edit summary- as why you think the article needs the information. Right now it seems like the info above is similiar to the listed section about 'popular bootlegs'. What does it add to the article? Maybe you know more than me, as why it is important. Other thing about getting it edited out is that people will take it down, giving their reasons, and it may go back and forth for awhile but eventually a consensus will develop whether it should be included. People tend look over favorite articles and make sure the content and quality stays high. There are a lot of recurrent editors on the Richards page, not just me.
