First year pro, Josh can play as a right sided defender or in his preferred position as a midfielder. He is son of ex Chesterfield player and manager Nicky Law, Sr. and brother of Sheffield United player Nicky Law. He was the only second year trainee to be offered a pro deal for this season. He made a solid first team debut against Hartlepool United in the Johnsons Paint Trophy in September 2008, seeing a shot cleared off the line and another hitting the bar. Currently on loan at Alfreton Town, the club managed by his dad Nicky Law, Sr..
