Jose Risueño

Jose Risueño ((or Josef or Giuseffo) (1640-1721) was a Spanish painter of the Baroque period, active mainly in his native city of Granada. He initially trained with Alonso Cano, under whom he studied both painting and sculpture. He helped decorate the cupola of the Church in the Carthusian monastery. He died at Granada.
