I'm pretty sure that this was the same man who developed the Warnock algorithm for hidden surface removal. --Ardonik 09:59, Jul 10, 2004 (UTC)

It appears to be so, according to [1]

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Why is his affiliation as a founder and financial supporter of the extremely liberal website "Salon.com" received no mention in this article.
