The image previously on the page attributed as "John Hopkinson" is in fact his brother, Edward Hopkinson as may be seen by careful reading of http://www.zipworld.com.au/~lnbdds/Boschi/electricalmach.htm http://www.zipworld.com.au/~lnbdds/Boschi/electricalmach.htm

Note: Google turns up a different image attributed to John Hopkinson on other websites, but that picture is of Charles Parsons, who can be seen at http://www-g.eng.cam.ac.uk/125/1875-1900/parsons.html This latter image is clearly not John Hopkinson, who reached the age of only 49 before his accidental death, and the pictured man looks much older.
