[edit] Is this really the Union Pacific President?
Is this guy really Durant's Union Pacific figurehead president (John A. Dix)? The biography mentions nothing about trains other than (wishful?) references. His biography would indicate he would have been otherwise occupied during the construction of the First Transcontinental Railroad. Thanks. Americasroof 01:36, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

- I'll answer my own question -- he's the guy. Thanks to be references! Americasroof 02:04, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
