Joseph Keenan (born October 14, 1982 in Southampton) is an English football player of Irish heritage who currently plays as a left wingback for Australian champions Melbourne Victory FC in the Australian A-League. He formerly played for English giants Chelsea F.C. He broke his leg playing against Arsenal F.C. Reserves in October 2002 [1] Keenan made his first-team debut for Chelsea during 2002 as a substitute for John Terry against Aston Villa, before his second appearance came as a replacement for Gianfranco Zola in an FA Cup tie. He can play anywhere across midfield or as a wingback. [2]
