I'm not too sure how they might handle this now that you've already made some edits with this username, but you might want to file a request at Wikipedia:Changing username to migrate your editing history from RealPlayer (talk • contribs) to this account. I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, but trademarked usernames are banned since we've had complaints in the past about misrepresentation with other trademarks.   • Look what, mister! I know you hate RealPlayer, but this has gone way to far! There are other articles about media players: Winamp, iTunes, Windows Media Player. I don't see any difference between the screenshots there and these in RealPlayer. The only reason that you block me and that you remove these images is that you HATE RealPlayer. Just like other users, you say that it's bloated, spreads spyware and etc! BUT you have something more - you're the admin! So WHAT? You don't rule the world!!! Now block me for 48h or for ever! The images in the other articles are also marked as "copyrighted shots", but there's no explanation WHY. I chatted live with a RealNetworks staff. HE told me that there's no problem using the pics. Who's the vandal now? I? Nope, I don't think so!! Joanna
What? I have not made any statements about RealPlayer being bloated or spreads spyware or whatever. You were blocked because you continue to not provide a detailed fair-use rationale for the images you are uploading. I freely admit that many other images are also missing this mandatory information but I don't monitor those pages. If you do, I encourage you to mark them appropriately (you can use the {{subst:nrd}} tag if the image is missing the detailed fair-use rationale). --Yamla 17:13, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Okay, I'm assuming you are talking about Image:Realplay 192x192.png. You have noted which page you plan to use it in. You have noted that it cannot be reasonably used for commercial gain (your point 3, though you aren't explicit about it). The image is rather larger than I think is necessary but that's not grounds to delete it, only to shrink it, and quite honestly, I don't care much about that sort of thing. You don't mention why you need a copyrighted image (that is, why a free image wouldn't work just as well) but really, this is obvious from context. I mention it only because as a general rule, you should add some explanation. But now I'm getting overly picky (even for me). OK, I'm sorry for that. There are just a lot of people that say such things about RealPlayer. I thought that's why I'm blocked. I'm trying to make this page look a little bit like the other media player pages, it's just that without images, the pages look really boring. I just don't get it how a normal image violate Wikipedia's fair-use. Please check the images on Windows Media Player and etc. Joanna
All copyrighted images need an explicit hand-written justification for each use on the Wikipedia. Why this specific image adds measurably to the article and why no free image would be appropriate. Additionally, generally only one or two fair-use images are considered appropriate for each article, though some exceptions may be made. Galleries of copyrighted images are not appropriate, however. The image and logo that you uploaded today looked fine but you did not include the fair-use rationale, and given that you have previously been warned about this, this netted you a short-term block. Detailed hand-written fair-use rationales can be a pain but they are required for any use of a copyrighted image on the Wikipedia. Hi! I am reverted/removed your addition of category:Software Piracy from Real Alternative, QuickTime Alternative and Winamp Alternative because I don't think listing of Softwares into the category because there legalisation is debated is what the category is meant for. Thanks for uploading Image:RealPlayer10.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box.
