Joan Harrison (born November 29, 1935) is a South African swimmer and olympic champion. She competed at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki, where she received a gold medal in 100 m backstroke.[1]

She was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1982.[2][3]
