Joílson Rodrigues Macedo or simply Joílson (born July 7, 1979 in Rio de Janeiro), is a Brazilian Right Back. He currently plays for São Paulo.

However with Botafogo already planning for 2008 season and with little chance of making the Copa Libertadores in 2008, Botafogo's Vice-President Carlos Augusto Montenegro has confirmed that Joílson will be returning to Tombense-MG from his loan spell with Botafogo on 31st December 2007.[1]

Since this announcement Sao Paulo have now stepped in and signed Joilson for the 2008 season and will be presented to the media on Monday 19th November 2007. The length of the contract is yet to be decided.[2]
