[edit] Non-Neutral Point of View

This article is in serious need of citations so weasel words can be avoided. External links besides those that insult the subject would also go a long ways to making this article much more encyclopedic. I think this article is essentially on mark (and I'm not a Pankiw booster, so his credibility being put unfairly into question -- whatever he has left of it -- doesn't bother me), but it needs to be more specific so that it clearly isn't biased. --Senseiireland 16:36, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Examples of Weasel Words in this article:
  • "Pankiw's tenure in the House is generally regarded as one of the most controversial in recent memory." By whom? Media source?
  • "The letter infuriated many within the university" Who are these people it infuriated? Is there any proof this occured?
  • "some people believe that at the very least he privately sympathises with the separatist cause." Who? This is a serious allegation

I could go on and on. We can't make general statements, particularly about one's character, without provided sources to back them up.

Edit some parts which were an issue, also cited sources for come of the statements.
