[edit] deletion of unconfirmed info

For want of a confirmed source, am deleting the reference to Mullen using his thumb rather than a plectrum because of his origins as a bass guitar player. Mullen's own website states the following: "...began his musical life aged 8 playing "Tea-chest bass" in the neighbourhood skiffle group. He got his first guitar the same year, ..." which is just too circumstancial. Please return the reference if it can be justified (and accept my apologies) - personally I reckon it's because he's over 6 feet tall and his hands are just too big to fiddle around with a tiny plectrum. 83.180.142.113 01:42, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
