[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Tim mahoney 150.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Tim mahoney 150.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Elevator Surfing
Thanks for your contributions to the vladding article. Could you provide a Reliable source for the additions? McKay 18:40, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sadly, according to WP:VERIFY, the content will have to be removed. Wikipedia is more concerned with verifiability than it is with truth. The content has been reverted. If you really think such information should be made available in wikipedia, you're going to have to get infromation published elsewhere. Maybe you could get an article written in the college paper. (College papers are starved for content.) From there, maybe a local community newspaper or magazine? McKay 15:04, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your re-direct of Coco Pops
You re-directed the page to Cocoa Krispies but guess what, that page re-directs to Coco Pops. You better fix this up. Just to let you know back in August 2006 Cocoa Krispies was re-directed to Coco Pops per consus on talk page. Have a look at the history here Thanks Roadrunnerz45 (talk 2 me) 06:16, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. Please leave the article at Coco Pops; please do not copy-and-paste the content to other titles, as you did to Cocoa krispies. —C.Fred (talk) 06:36, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
