[edit] Problem on date reference to state of Arizona

Jerome became a notorious "wild west" town, a hotbed of prostitution, gambling, and vice. On 5 February 1903, the New York Sun proclaimed Jerome to be "the wickedest town in the State"

(Imagine that since arizona wasn't a state until 1912 someone screwed up) -- [[User:68.3.0.195] 23:07, 27 October 2005

Editor User:Nyttend deleted a number of links as spam, but removed some that are genuinely useful:

None of these strike me as spam. I propose restoring them. Pete Tillman 01:39, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Misunderstanding, I shouldn't have removed them, so I've restored them. My apologies. Nyttend 01:53, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
No problem; thanks for putting them back. I'll probably retitle the Sharlot Hall article, since it's actuallly about (ims) the old Douglas mansion, that became a State Park.
Sharlot Hall, incidentally, was Arizona's first State Historian, just after statehood. She was a person, not a building. Cheers, Pete Tillman 04:34, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tourism and art

This latest edit, by 66.82.9.104, needs a rewrite to remove the promotional tone -- it reads like a Chmaber of Commerce puff-piece now. Cheers -- Pete Tillman (talk) 02:28, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Done, with general cleanup and some new info added. Cheers, Pete Tillman (talk) 06:38, 8 May 2008 (UTC), who had lunch in Jerome yesterday
