Rabbi Jeremy Gordon is Rabbi of New London Synagogue. New London was founded by Rabbi Dr Louis Jacobs. He also provides Rabbinic leadership for St Albans Masorti Synagogue, Leeds Masorti Synagogue and Noam.
Following a law degree at University of Cambridge, Gordon worked in television for the BBC and other production companies. Gordon studied for ordination and a Masters degree in Midrash at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. He currently teaches Midrash at Leo Baeck College.
Gordon publishes regularly in the Jewish Chronicle and is the author of several Responsa on the role of women in Jewish liturgical practice and other subjects.
He is married to Josephine, artistic director of Yad Arts. They have one son, Carmi.
