- I'll make a compromise and leave a {{fact}} tag text to the nickname. I've never heard the nickname, nor heard any news source identify him by it. - Consider yourself lucky I found a source to back up the claim. Otherwise you would have received a couple of warnings for breaking Wikipedia's policies. - Sorry, I'm not an ND fan - at least my favorite college actually knows how to win a championship within an eight-year period ;-). I'm only editing this article as a baseball fanatic. The highlight video apparently belongs to the NCAA - which currently does not allow commercial websites to publicly redistribute it's content w/o proper consent. please, please, please stop making disruptive edits -- ShadowJester07 ►Talk 04:59, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

But now you bring up this: "at least my favorite college actually knows how to win a championship within an eight-year period" I find this very funny. Hey jester, try winning a national championship with coaches like Ty Willingham and Bob Davie, and with 2 and 3 star rated players! Your reasoning is oblivious! And guess who has led the same players coached by those two guys to two seasons of 9-3 and 10-3 records? A man named Charlie Weis. Guess who helped win games for the team and shattered records? Jeffrey Alan "Shark" Samardzija! So please, please, please, do not say statements such as this to me or any ND fan. Oh yes, I forgot to mention Charlie Weis' two straight top 10 recruiting classes... Jimy Clausen, James Aldridge, Duval Kamara, Armando Allen, Gary Gray, Darrin Walls, Sam Young, Konrad Reuland, Zach Frazer, Raeshon McNeil, Robert Hughes, Matt Romine, Aaron Nagel (Nagel is German for "nail"), and Mike Ragone. Hi all! I made a change to the salary section. Previously it said that Jeff made $16.5 million guaranteed. According to the ESPN link, however, he would make up to 16.5 million *if* the club exercised the sixth/seventh year options in his contract. I removed this:

Who is this Ryan Hand? He has no Wikipedia article. Is he a notable commentator or is this just some Wikipedia editor adding his own personal scouting report? -Elmer Clark (talk) 13:55, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
