Jefferson Township is one of fifteen townships in Greene County, Indiana, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 2,036.

Jefferson Township covers an area of 32.47 square miles (84.09 square kilometers); of this, 0.2 square miles (0.52 square kilometers) or 0.62 percent is water. The streams of Bunnell Branch, Corbin Creek, Eel River and Lemon Creek run through this township.
