Jayson Swain

Jayson Swain (born July 27, 1984) is a wide receiver for the Chicago Bears. He attended the University of Tennessee for college.

Swain was born in Chicago, Illinois, but he attended Virgil Grissom High School in Huntsville, Alabama. He was an All-American and played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Swain garnered rave reviews upon arrving at Tennessee in 2003. He was part of a heralded recruiting class with receivers Robert Meachem and Bret Smith.

Swain started 5 games in his Sophomore and Junior seasons, before becoming a full time starter in the 2006 season. For the 2006 season, Swain had over 500 yards receiving and 5 touchdowns.

He wore Jersey #1.

He went undrafted in the 2007 NFL Draft and was signed by the Bears the day after.
