Jason Jeremy Freese (born in Orange County, California, on January 12, 1975) provides piano/keyboard, guitar, tenor saxophone, accordion, trombone and backing vocals for Green Day. Along with many other bands and artists the Freese has been linked to, a leading one magazine described him as 'Jason Freese from Green Day'. He is also confirmed as one of the musicians from Foxboro Hot Tubs. Jason has also played for other artists/bands including Queens of the Stone Age, Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes, Weezer, Jewel, NOFX, Lenny Kravitz, The Goo Goo Dolls, Joe Walsh, Feist, The Vandals and Liz Phair.[1]

His brother Josh Freese is a well-known drummer.
