There seems to be an error in this text, it claims that "Miami Vice Theme" is one of two instrumental songs reaching the top of the billboard charts along with "Theme from SWAT", although here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vangelis it mentions that the "Chariots of Fire" Theme was the only other instrumental title to reach the top of the billboard charts?

It turns out that they are several. "Peter Gunn", "S.W.A.T.", "Chariots of Fire" and likely more if one is inclined to keep looking... Vytal 20:30, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

The Discography is missing an album Jan Hammer made with Jerry Goodman called "Like Children" in 1975 - I added this today Lindfib 16:19, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Bruce Lindfield

Also missing from the discography are two albums he made with John Abercrombie: "Timeless" (1974) and "Night" (1984) both on ECM

I have removed all or a majority of the fair use images on this page as their use was not in line with our Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria policy (likely in that the use is not minimal (3.a.) and it is in a list or a gallery (8.)) or our Wikipedia:Non-free content guideline that states that cover images may only be used for critical commentary on the cover itself, not just identification. [edit] Tone and content

Much of Hammer's biography appears to be lifted directly from the Jan Hammer Homepage (http://users.tkk.fi/~tahola/jhammer/bio2.html). There is an excessively fannish tone, and most of it reads like a press release. Does anyone agree? Vytal 02:59, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

The first half is almost identical to the liner notes of Escape from Television. That in itself seems reason enough to erase it and start over. Xeriphas1994 23:49, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
