Howdy.

I am just another ephemeral and unremarkable Wikipedia reader, though I do have 10,000+ edits on another wiki.  After being made an administrator there in February 2007, I became interested in how policies were developed and implemented in a large volunteer project, so I started flipping through Wikipedia's talk spaces as well.  In fact, I hardly ever read the articles anymore; bot approval discussions and arbcom hearings are so much livelier!

Does that make this a single-purpose account?  I'm not sure.  I know I don't have the stomach to seriously contribute in the main space — that can have a lot of political and social consequences nowadays.  I make the occasional typographic edit, but that's only to pacify my own obsessive-compulsive cravings; such changes are almost always obliterated by the next major revision (or so suggests my experience at Wikia, where the markup is generally far less complex).

You are of course welcome to post to my talk page, but I won't see it until the next time I log in, which may be several months from now.  Try here instead.
