Janet Beer

Professor Janet Beer is the Vice-Chancellor of Oxford Brookes University. She took over from Graham Upton in September 2007, having previously been Dean of Arts and Humanties at Manchester Metropolitan University.[1][2]

She was a special adviser on higher education to the House of Commons Select Committee on Education and Skills from 2000 until 2007, and serves on the advisory board of the Higher Education Policy Institute.[3]
