[edit] Notability
Does this guy pass Wikipedia:Notability (academics)? It'd be nice to have some external links to check. WLU 20:08, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Added a few external links and found an additional national news story (NPR) about his work. Joetroll 07:20, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- In my opinion he passes the notability requirement. Consider on Wikipedia:Notability (academics) the example of "an academic who has...non-academic articles in periodicals with significant readership." Fowler has been cited in The Economist, the New York Times, and on the NewsHour. --Vince | Talk 10:11, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
This Joetroll guy seems suspiciously like James Fowler. His entire list of contributions consists of adding Fowler's citations to various topics. Seems pretty shady. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.212.164.115 (talk) 07:53, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
