James C. Corman

Representative Corman and other members of the House Committee on Science and Astronautics visit the Marshall Space Flight Center on March 9, 1962 to gather first-hand information of the nation's space exploration program.
James Charles Corman (October 20, 1920 – December 30, 2000) was the Democratic Representative from the 22nd district and later, the 21st district. Prior to serving in Washington, he served on the Los Angeles City Council from July 1, 1957 to January 3, 1961.
In 2001, the Van Nuys, California Federal Building was named in his honor.
Corman graduated from Belmont High School, in Downtown Los Angeles.
