[edit] Advert tag added on january 2007

I've added this Talk page because, some Wikipedia writer thought that this "Jalios JCMS" article or section should have been read like an advertisement.... Why ??

Indeed, everything in this page is factual. It's been written in an objective and unbiased style. In addition it's third-party verifiable....

Consequently, I think that it can't be labeled as advertising.

Don't hesitate to discuss about it.

I agree that it reads like an advertisement. Not so blatant as to deserve deletion but sentences like
offering much functionality out of the box and capable of being customized to manage a specific business process.
are exactly what you would find in a company brochure. Note also that the fact that all of your Wikipedia contributions have been related to this company, there's a strong indication that you are editing with a conflict of interest. Pascal.Tesson 00:59, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
I am working for this company, therefore I should not be editing this article (following Wikipedia guidelines on this subject)... But I have tried to update it to match a more unbiased view and citing (french) articles from well known media. I have of course not removed the advertising mark. Could you have a look at this version and possibly remove the advertising mark if it now matches the expected guidelines? Thanks! Olivier Jaquemet 18:41, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
The references are helpful, although I comprehend almost nothing of the French articles they are better than nonthing — thanks for providing them. I did a bit more cleanup and removed both of the cleanup tags. JonHarder talk 02:09, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Advert tag added on january 2008

Hi, the advert tag has been added again on january 2008. But the article has not changed since the last validation by JonHarder (excepting bot modifications). Could someone help me to clarify which Wikipedia rules are not being followed so I can fix the article. Thanks a lot. Olivier Jaquemet (talk) 18:28, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

I have changed the styling by adding a software infobox and tried to improved the phrasing. I understand that this article would need much more information regarding the software to be of good quality, but in the meantime, is it good enough to remove the advertising tag ? Olivier Jaquemet (talk) 09:51, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Looking again at the article history, I have just seen that the advert tag has been added by an anonymous user, which does not seem to me like a real Wikipedia administration task. I take the responsability to remove the tag. My apologies if it's not the way to go. Add the tag again with more detailed explanation on this talk page about which sentences or part of the article need some modifications. Thanks to all for your comprehension on this issue.
