[edit] AfD Nomination: Rasmus Teislev Neckelmann

An editor has nominated the article Rasmus Teislev Neckelmann for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rasmus Teislev Neckelmann. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Rasmus Teislev Neckelmann during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. [edit] User:Jakslev

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to your user page (User:Jakslev), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy).

Please note that the purpose of a user page is not as personal homepage or used as a general webhosting service, but as way for active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. If you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues here or on my user talk page. You may remove the deletion notice, and the page will not be deleted for the moment, but note that it may still be sent to Miscellany for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. My Comments: I was not aware that there was a minimum number of articles that a user/editor of WikiPedia had to perform per month to be entitled to have a user profile description. Please point me to where that is mentioned, and consider that the case might be that the poor user didn't stumble on WikiPedia till January 2007 and at that time had some time to look through the website. I do in fact have a proper life that involves making a living so I am not able to be a professional wiki editor but merely an amateur that might shed some of my knowledge on some of the articles when I am not busy doing real work. Have a good one, and I'd greatly appreciate that the delete banner was removed soon :o). --jakslev 14:27, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Well, having had a look at the definition about what the User page can be used for I see that my user page might be bordering inappropriate, but obviously not so inappropriate that it should be deleted straight away. Seems also I have found a subject for a discussion forum.. --jakslev 14:47, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
