Jako

Jako is a German sportswear manufacturer. Their name derives from the Jagst (Ja) and Kocher (ko) rivers in northeast Baden-Württemberg, they also maintain a US-based distribution center in Hillsborough, NJ. While best known as a football (soccer) outfitter predominantly in Europe, their product line has expanded into a number of other areas including handball, volleyball, tennis, and women's fashion beginning in 2007. They also own the naming rights to Jako Arena, an indoor sporting arena located in Bamberg, Germany. The capacity of the arena is 6,900 people and is currently home to the Brose Baskets basketball team.

Jako was founded 1989, and has since then sponsored several teams in the German Bundesliga and other leagues in Europe.
