John Carl Scarbath (born August 12, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland) is a former professional American football quarterback who played in three National Football League seasons from 1953-1956 for two different teams. He was a runner up for the Heisman Trophy.
He was an All-American at the University of Maryland. In 1983 he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
