The Jack Baskin School of Engineering is the first professional school at the University of California, Santa Cruz. It offers programs in applied mathematics and statistics, bioinformatics, biomolecular engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer game design, electrical engineering, and information systems management. The school is home to the Center for Biomolecular Science and Engineering and the Information Technologies Institute. The School of Engineering received its principal endowment in 1997 from engineer and retired developer Jack Baskin, for whom the school has since been named.[1]
