The JŽ Series 611 is an historic vehicle of Hrvatske željeznice. It was a diesel-electric unit made from aluminium alloy. It was nicknamed "Aluminium train". There were 6 units in overall.
The first examples of the Series 611 had a weak motor, but later models had a stronger one. They have performed very well on plain lines, but on mountain lines they suffered some damage
