[edit] Haaretz link is dead
The link [1] provided to the Haaretz article regarding the 'embarcing failure' (sic) of the peace rally is dead. Please supply another, working link or record to justify inclusion of POV paragraph. illWill 15:40, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Here is an alternative [2]. MathKnight 15:54, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Fine, article still needs rewording to remove POV though. And how come so many of the Haaretz links are dead?illWill 16:07, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I think you should ask Haaretz for this. Either it employs a strange archieving policy or the are problems in its server. MathKnight 18:56, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- It's worth a try - I'll send them an email tomorrow. They are a useful source for this issue and it would be handy to all concerned if there was a stable link available. It's odd though, some of the links work fine and some of them don't - maybe they collapse similar stories into one page as they are added to?illWill 20:00, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Major cleanup needed
I have just read this article and it seems like it wasn't updatd in the last (very critical) years. Thus, the article is not updated, it speasks of past event sas present and ignores the major changes the Israeli political map (includiong the peace camp) had undergone. Also, there are many grammar and spelling mistakes all over the article. I think this article urgently need cleanup.
Should I mark it then? Tal :) 11:35, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ok...
Now while I openly admit to knowing little of the inner political details of the hostilities between the Arab nations and Isreal. (The whole damn issue is a hodge podge to me and I'd prefer this mess cleaned up).
However the below sentence concerns me. Left wign and securitist?. Maybe we should remove this because it seems a bit against Wikipedia's NPOV policy.
From the article "The leadership and hardcore activists of the peace camp are mostly associated with the left wing, although the silent majority of supporters are from the political center and moderate securitist-left." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nateland (talk • contribs)
[edit] Major cleanup needed II
My head hurts and all I did was proofread the article.
While it seems to be about 75% fair (my estimate), it is nonetheless smack-full of OR and commentary and the other 25% is puff propaganda bordering on myth. In fact, the entire subject is POV, since there is no such group as the 'Israeli peace camp' and only they themselves (and the 'mainstream' (i.e. leftist) media call it that. According to WP convention, more than half the article should be blanked out, and frankly, bringing in more quotes 'peace camp' supporters like ynet and haaretz does not really do justice to making this piece NPOV which is frankly the ultimate goal. The main chunk of the article is about Peace Now which has its own article for that information. My main comment though would be that it is currently a poorly written article and is lacking proper chronology, convention, unified flow, and academic references. --Shuki 23:11, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
