[edit] Advertising/wikification

I've had a go at wikifying the article and removing marketing bumpf. Still a ways to go yet, but a start.Saganaki- 01:13, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A note to editors working at Investors Chronicle, Pearson plc and its subsidiaries

Please do not add commercial material to The Chronicle. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion.

Please note also, that Wikipedia discourages organisations editing their own material because of the conflict of interest this involves. However, I'd suggest that if you want to put information about your company on wikipedia you take a look at Wall street journal as an example of a properly sourced wikipedia article which does not contain marketing weasel words.Saganaki- 03:00, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Departure of Matthew Vincent, Editor: You might want to mention that under Matthew Vincent ABC circulation fell from 51,000 (Press release from Pearson on his appointment) to 35,000 (see ABC Certificate). Mr. Vincent ceased to be editor with the 24 August 2007 issue. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Richard crosfield (talkcontribs) 17:16, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
