[edit] Non-technical?

The language used here right now is hardly what I would call "non-technical". I'm not sure this page should exist, but if it should, it needs to have a completely different vocabulary. --Strait 15:18, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, have I done something erroneous? If by you mean "...Hardly I would call 'non-technical'." The words used within the article are too intricate for you to understand, then however that was not he purpose of the article. Its purpose was merely to give an introduction to 'particles' as the other articles were turgid and read like an essays. This was to give it a brevity to the particles article. I believe the introduction is vital before a layman divulges into the main-article as he would be confused as to what actually is a particle. Perhaps, we can change the wording withing the introduction to simplify the introduction further. However, I don't necessarily think its necessary as anyone with a grasp of English can understand the current article. Although if by "merging" you mean this in the traditional sense of the word, I do believe that generally would be an exceptional idea rather then deleting the article I have created. I am actually new to Wiki, so please do go easy on my opinions when you respond, thanks. --Logic20 17:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
I'd support a merge here, with point particle, but this would also require extensive tidying. I'm not sure anything particularly new is covered here either, so as far as I can see there's no need for a separate article. Jeodesic 17:53, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
