[edit] POV
I have added the article neutrality dispute and quality cleanup because much of this article seems like an advertisement and cites few sources--DerRichter 17:58, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] History, grading
Does anyone have citations for the information in these sections? It would be really helpful to know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DerRichter (talk • contribs) 18:36, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
I could maybe dig up my transcripts and my ACT and SAT scores for a more personal touch. And I've come across a few sites that talk about the "Grade Inflation" history of the 90's so I'll add those in. I remember arguing with a fellow classmate about comments the Seattle School District Superintendent made regarding I.S.'s successes being founded on a cherry-picked student body on KCTS/PBS--maybe I could find that broadcast on youtube or something. - I removed a lot from this page that was irrelevant, not encyclopedic, and uncited. I did, however, try to find sources for many claims. I also left the curriculum section becuase it might be important, but people really need to cite their sources. A lot of what I deleted were sentences stating "students are unhappy with this..." but no citation. It would be great to add more to this article if you have the proper means of doing so.
