In the U.S. state of Montana, Interstate 94 runs east-west through the central portion of the state.

The route begins in Billings as I-90 turns southward toward Wyoming. I-94 then heads northeastward towards Miles City and Glendive then turns eastward and heads out of the state into North Dakota.
