Intefiqer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ancient Egyptian noble Intefiqer was Governor of the City (i.e. Thebes) and Vizier of Senusret I during the 12th Dynasty. The tomb of his mother Senet in Thebes (tomb) is in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna in the Theban Necropolis, opposite Luxor.[1] Intefiqer was buried at Lisht, next to the pyramid of Amenemhet I. There are many documents relating to Intefiqer showing that he was involved in military campaigns in Nubia.
