Template talk:Infobox Internet celebrity

I couldn't get "nationality" to work, so I deleted its code. I left it as an option in the hope that someone will fix it. Ichormosquito 02:09, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Birthname" as default

Is "birthname" common enough to be default? It seems like "name" would be better. What I would like to do is leave the option for "birthname" (otherwise the existing instances of this template would be broken), make it option, and add "name" (as another optional parameter). Perhaps we could make it so if both were not used, then one would should up (as one of the should be required). --Iamunknown 15:39, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Hmm, now I'm not sure. The "birthname" parameter, of course, does need to remain...otherwise it would break the other instances of the template. I do not think, however, that it should be required. If it is left blank, I think the "Birth name" text should not be rendered. Any thoughts? --Iamunknown 06:35, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
I agree. It shouldn't be required. I put it in there because the comedian infobox has it; but, so far as I know, hiding one's Jewishness hasn't been a problem for internet celebrities. Ichormosquito 15:50, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Cool. One thing: I just realized that it isn't currently required! I should have noticed that earlier...  :-\ --Iamunknown 18:24, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] location to birthplace

suggestion change location to birthplace, also look at a really good template set up for actor 68.251.53.76 17:09, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

OK, I guess that makes more sense. Switched. Ichormosquito 18:17, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Line wrapping doesn't work

Infobox Internet celebrity
Background information
Born {{{birthdate}}}
Internet activity
Signature phrase aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa aaa

This box seems to display each parameter in a single line instead of wrapping it (like Template:Infobox actor does, for example), so that the box grows awfully wide if some argument is too long (see example). -- memset (talk) 18:31, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
