I am assembling below the list of recipient from different sources. As this may not be the complete list for a given year, I'm not migrating them to the main page yet. Visitors, please add more names if you can. Arman (Talk) 07:58, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

  • Nice work. I added the partial list in the entry. Hope, we can add more.--NAHID 19:33, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reorganization

I'm proposing to change the section breaks from years to decades: 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. The individual years will be retained as bullt points. This is because the article currently has too many section breaks. Unless there are any objection, I'll make this change in a few days. Arman (Talk) 02:25, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Agreed. That would be great. Too many section can create vast mess to article and readers may loose his/er patient.--NAHID 07:47, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
  • I agrre, we want to complete the list. It is better to cite from the government source, like the booklet Swadhinata Padak. --Librarianpmolib (talk) 04:26, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Language problem

This is the English Wikipedia, and the names has to be in English. Please, turn the names in Bangla into the language of this version of Wikipedia (or, remove those to the Bangla Wikipedia). Aditya(talkcontribs) 17:36, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

I guess I am going to remove all information that remains solely in a non-English language. Aditya(talkcontribs) 08:50, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Redlinks

Thanks to everyone who contributed to make the list complete. Let's try to gradually remove the redlinks with new articles. If we can do that we have a strong Featured list candidate in hand. Arman (Talk) 02:03, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Need help to get more info on award winners

Dear all, I'm trying to create articles on all award recepients starting from 1977. Can anyone please provide me some basic information on the following people based on which at least a stub article can be created?

  • Habildar Mostak Ahmad (Awardee 1977)
  • Dr. Mazharul Haque (Awardee 1978)
  • Dr. Shah Muhammad Hasanuzzaman (Awardee 1978)
Trying look up stuff. So far no luck. BTW, while you are at it, check out the spelling of the names. There could be serious errors there. Aditya(talkcontribs) 20:47, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
The GOB cabinet division website now hosts brief profiles of all award winners since 1980. I hope they will extend it back 3 years to make the list complete. Arman (Talk) 01:53, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
