Ian Sterling (October 30, 1987 - June 6, 2007), was a English born, American Drug Dealer/gangster who his better known as, Dappy, rumoured to be the son of, Ken "Rocco" Jones. Dappy as been drug dealing since he was 10 in 1998, he made his first million in drugs at the age of just 16 in 2004. Ian was one of the fastest under 16 year old to hit the big time.

Born in 1987, Ian was the lovechild between, Ken Jones and Dawn Sterling, his father Rocco ran off in 1988 and Ian was raised by George Gill after Dawn was sent to prison for drug taking and dealing in 1991. By the age of nine he was hanging around with older boys (16-18) all taking and selling drugs. George was trying his hardest to got Ian away from that life, but Ian thought it was cool. By the age of ten he was also selling.

Ian's friends started to call him Dappy, on the first day he started. By the age of 11 he was earning £500 a week, 12 earning about £2000 a week. He sold Weed, Coke & other stuff.

By the age of 14-15 Ian moved too, New York with George, Ian git involied with the big New York gangsters. By the age of 16 Ian made his first massive deal with an African drug dealer for $1.5m, at the age of 16.
