Talk:Ian Bairnson
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
What is the source and content of this critical acclaim for songs as 'Jigue' and 'Mr Time' both of which are not Bairnson compositions or feature prominent performances by him? Besides, the tone of this article seems coloured in a favourable way towards Bairnson. This seems to be 'evident' in the use of a sentence like: "Bairnson's proficiency as a saxophone player was made evident on The Time Machine" and the prominence of this sentence very early in the introduction: "Producer, engineer, and composer and long time collaborator Alan Parsons has said of Ian, "he is arguably the best guitarist in the UK"." Am I overreacting?
- No, I do not think you are. The article was distinctly POV, and is now toned down. (Please sign your comments).

- I think the edits I made should bring this closer to being a somewhat standard article. It definetely needs major work, but I am thinking this should help things out a bit. I removed what looked to be a lot more POV stuff, and took out that ghastly long list of collaborations. Hopefully, this makes it look better. Kagurae (talk) 10:03, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
